Cochran – William Wallace Hearn, Sr., age 86, died Sunday, September 11, 2022, at his residence surrounded by his family. Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at 3:00 P.M., in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens in Macon.

Mr. William, born in Bleckley County, was the son of the late John Columbus Washington Hearn and Cecil Cook Hearn. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Mae Hearn and by his brothers, Herman Hearn, Johnny Hearn, Marvin Hearn and Sidney Hearn and his sisters, Myrna Hearn and Ruby Meeks. He was a retired electrician and had worked for Imagination Farms and Gulfstream Builders. He was a member of The First Assembly of God Church.

Survivors are his children, William Wallace Jr. (Tammy) Hearn of Havana, FL, Kevin Hearn of Byron, Brian Hearn of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Stephen (Jennifer) Hearn of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Duane (Tammy) Hearn of Cochran, Dera (Craig) Pearce of Cochran and Robin Hearn of Cochran; his sister, Laura Bolden of Cochran; 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The family is at 246 Churchwell Rd., Cochran and will greet friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday at Mathis Funeral Home.
