Cochran – Wyndell E. Roland, age 70, died Friday, May 14, 2021, in the Bleckley Memorial Hospital. Memorial services will be held Sunday, May 16, 2021, at 6:00 P.M. in the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home.

Wyndell, a lifelong resident of Cochran, was the son of the late Bobby and Bernice Russ Roland. He was retired from Georgia Public Television Station in Cochran. He was a 1969 graduate of Cochran High School, a graduate of Middle Georgia College and Georgia Southwestern. Wyndell loved music, guitars, guns and golf.

Survivors are his sisters, Thresa (Roy) Floyd, Crystal (Danny) Cooper and Sharon (Jeff) Smith all of Cochran and Karen (Jamie) Canady of Summertown; several nieces and nephews.

The family will greet friends after the service Sunday at Mathis Funeral Home.
