We began serving Cochran and the surrounding areas in June of 1970 as Mathis-Nobles Funeral Home. In 1973, we became Mathis Funeral Home Inc., owned and operated by Bobby Mathis. Bobby served our community from 1949 until his death on April 24, 2005. Lillian Greene Mathis, wife of Bobby Mathis and a licensed Funeral Director, owned and operated Mathis Funeral Home until her death on February 15, 2013.
Today, the Mathis family continues to own and operate our business. The family and dedicated staff at Mathis Funeral Home appreciate the opportunity to serve this community both now and for many years to come.
